I think I’m starting to pinpoint the activities that I do in my day-to-day life that slows down the racing thoughts and clutter in my head. Writing helps – that’ll always be my saving grace. But also long form content like movies and books that require me to pay full attention. Painting, and baking cookies – I find baking cookies therapeutic these days, and I’m very grateful for that, because it hasn’t always been this way.

I remember the first time I was in my baking phase. It was during one of the lockdowns – I can’t remember which, which, honestly, who can at this point? – and I baked one dessert a week.
