Types of Baby Monitors And Their Benefits

A Baby Monitor, sometimes called a baby monitor watch, is an electronic device used to hear sounds created by an infant through their caregiver’s line of communication. An electronic baby monitor is usually set up with a transmitter (usually carried within the baby’s travel gear), equipped with a miniature microphone, placed close to the infant. The transmitter emits a frequency that the receiver of the ear piece can pick up. Receivers are generally small wireless devices and are often hand-held, either attached to a belt pouch or worn on a wristwatch.

In-ear baby monitors are preferred over wireless systems because they provide more accurate tracking.
