With the start of the new year, 2019, comes many resolutions of getting fit and starting the gym. If you’re one of those people who have joined a gym but are a bit apprehensive of going because of certain reasons. This may be helpful to you!
I have created this list based on certain aspects that give me anxiety about the gym. I am not an expert, this is what helps me and I hope it helps you!
1. Go at a quieter time.
As well as it being better for accessing all of the equipment you want to without waiting for anyone else who may be on it first, going at “off-peak” times means there is less pressure on you to ‘perform well’ or not ’embarrass yourself’ in front of lots of people, if that is what may be stopping you.
