A chocolate cake is all well and good but a quadruple chocolate cake? Now you’re talking! For all you chocoholics out there, this is the cake for you.

As you might imagine there are 4 chocolate elements that make up this cake. Rich chocolate sponge studded with chocolate chips, then a lush chocolate syrup that covers the cake then chocolate shavings to cover that. Sure why not?

This is pure indulgence when you need a chocolate fix. I actually think this cake is so versatile. Perfect with a cup of tea or as a dessert with some ice-cream to go with. Actually, I recently made it for a friend’s birthday too. Whatever the occasion, this is sure to go down a treat.
