The week after Thanksgiving usually brings days upon days of turkey and stuffing, gravy, breads, pumpkin pie or apple pie or any number of other pies and baked desserts. Many may be feeling like they are a stuffed turkey with all the food they have eaten. 

Sluggish, slow moving, sleepy, and bloated.
It’s time to switch gears and give our digestive system a bit of a break and possibly a cleanse.
What is a cleanse?
Many people think of the extreme cleanses that have been popular over the years, such as the Master Cleanse (10 days of just lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper), juice cleanse or products you can buy that will cleanse out your system.
That is not what I am suggesting. I’m talking about a gentle and well rounded way of taking care of our body and systems.
