While we’ve known the 3.0-liter Duramax diesel engine is coming to the 2019 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra, we haven’t had firm numbers on power, torque or fuel economy. Now, thanks to a TFL reader who sent in some screenshots from GM Canada’s dealer site, we have more information.

According to these screenshots, the 3.0-liter Duramax engine available in the Sierra produces 282 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. GM also seems to claim fuel economy of 28 mpg on the highway. However, no official figures are available from the EPA yet. The Duramax engine comes mated to GM’s 10-speed automatic transmission.
