How do you take care of yourself and your family? Eating healthier food is a good start in taking care of oneself. What are healthy foods?

In this day and age, people are always rushing and relies on fast food. In our country, most people would also resort to instant foods or foods they can cook fast enough. It is a challenge to prepare healthy home-cooked meals because of time constraints.

Last Wednesday, I dedicated a portion of my time to attend my two kids’ food festival at their school. The theme was health and wellness awareness. Parents were encouraged to attend so we will be more aware of what healthy meals are. I for one learned new healthy meals. We, the parents were grouped into three to come up with healthy meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Here are the set meals we prepared for the judges.
