Summer dessert with wild strawberries

I like my summer desserts to be refreshing and not very sweet. Since I learnt making panna cotta I started mixing recipes and ingredients for new experiences.

This dessert is a combination of oranges and wild strawberries and is good for 4 servings.


For the white panna cotta

  • 300 ml cream
  • 150 ml milk
  • 2 sheet of gelatin
  • Vanilla extract
  • 30 g sugar

For the orange jelly:

  • 350 ml orange juice
  • 30 g sugar
  • 2 sheets of gelatin

Wild strawberry layer

  • 1 cup wild strawberries
  • 1 banana


Panna cotta:  Put the gelatin sheets to soften in cold water. Heat in a saucepan over low heat the milk, cream, sugar and vanilla extract until the mixture reaches the boil. Stir regularly.
