The last few days have been challenging in regards to my health goals. It has been five days since I went for a walk/run, and I have made some unhealthy choices about how much I eat. It is time to bounce back.
The lies we tell ourselves and how we are fooling no one
It is always tempting to eat more of what I like, even if I am already satisfied. After all, I already lost some weight, sure I can afford to eat another piece of cake? (Don’t you want to keep losing weight?)
Besides, I will go for a run tomorrow. (Will you, really?) I did not go for a run yesterday, nor today, and tomorrow I might come up with another excuse. Next time it will be harder to convince myself to put on my sneakers and go out.
