Forest fire first fungi

This post focus’ on some fungi I’ve found over a few weeks. I’ve been looking closely at the burnt earth, observing what pops through the warming spring ground after some soaking rain.

I don’t expect to find any Mycena here, this is the burnt bush from a fire last April is on a north facing slope and cops a fair amount of direct sun under a scattered canopy of now struggling eucalyptus trees.
