Backpacking to Enchanted Valley

I usually neither prefer backpacking nor long hikes. But when Sai suggested 30+ mile, 3 day backpacking hike to Enchanted valley in Olympic National park for this Spring, I agreed just to get out of the daily routine. Sai already being there once in summer, had grand expectations and imaginations from the place which is also known as valley of 10,000 waterfalls. Since my agenda was to just spend some quality time in nature, I kept my expectations low. I was traveling the previous day due to which I hardly had time to rest and prepare. In the morning, I packed whatever I could and left Seattle in Sai’s car by 9 AM.

Day 1:

After 3+ hours drive, we reached the Graves creek trailhead and got ready with our packs and poles by 1 PM. Our plan on day 1 was to hike 13.5 miles to Enchanted valley campsite…
