Location:

The Rock Hotelis an historic hotel built in 1932 in art deco style located in a commanding position on the Rock of Gibraltar.  It quickly became a magnet for the rich and famous and is considered to be one of Europe’s iconic hotels so we were looking forward to following in their footsteps.

Getting to the hotel from the airport is very easy as it’s just a 15 minute taxi ride (£12 approx.).  Alternatively, bus services 5 & 10 operate frequent services into the town centre with day tickets at only £3.  There’s even a bus stop directly outside the hotel.  Guests with only hand luggage may also consider walking to the hotel taking around 30 minutes but be warned the hotel’s drive is quite steep.
