DIY SHOE CUSTOMIZATION – NIKE HUARACHE SNEAKERS

I got this pair of Nike Huarache sneakers about four years ago, and they have been faithful servants since. Even after four years of wearing them, they remain very comfortable and are in pretty good shape. I still love wearing them, but when their coating started peeling off, I was preparing to let them go. After some second thoughts, I realized that I could customize them and give them new life. After all, they are still damn good shoes.

The Goal

For this customization, I intend to repaint the coated parts of the shoe and add a little design to the outsole to give it a new look. There are some visible cracks on the side straps that will be concealed as well. I will strip off the coating on the nose and side straps of the shoe, and then repaint them black.
