On Saturday, I held a chocolate house making course for a couple of friends. It is a fairly time consuming exercise so I planned that we would build the houses and attach the roofs and then have some tea and cake before making the gardens.
I made coconut cakes using the recipe that features in my new Sir Chocolate book. These came out well and I took some photographs for Instagram. I also made a banana bread. It came out a bit soft and crumbly but I didn’t worry about it as I had a lot to do with setting up the kitchen for the course and laying out the tea in the dining room. It turned out that I forgot to add the sugar. Ha, that’s what happens when you try to do to many things at once.
