
As the name would suggest the Maserati Boomerang should have not existed only as a concept car but should have come back with avengence and sold like crazy. Instead it evolved into the Bora and into full production. But it had way more ‘wow’ in it’s original incarnation.
It first appeared at the Turin Motor Show in 1971 as a non working concept car before being finished and becoming a registered road car. It was shown at many car shows until 1974 when after the Barcelona Motor Show it was sold to an unidentified individual.
The Boomerang was powered by a 4.7L V8 engine producing 310 hp driving the rear wheels through it’s 5 speed manual gearbox.

It’s not often that a car is remembered for it’s interior but how could you forget the steering wheel and instrument cluster module.
