Santorini is a popular destination for holiday makers from all over the world. It is a Greek island, very beautiful, and is said to be the “the pearl of the Aegean Sea”. I went to Oia, located at the north tip of the island for three days. I would like to share my experiences and recommendations from this wonderful trip with you. Let me start with a brief explanation of the history of this island.
According to a brochure I got, 3500 years ago, an eruption of the volcano caused the entire center of a circular island to sink into the sea.
