I didn’t always eat healthy. Okay, let me back up. There were times when I thought I was eating healthy, but I really wasn’t. Over the years I bought into all the myths. And I mean ALL OF THEM.
Don’t eat fat.
Get plenty of whole grains.
Juice is healthy.
Low-cal frozen dinners are good for you.
You get the idea…
It wasn’t my fault though. And if you’ve fallen for these myths, it’s not your fault either. There’s so much confusion out there thanks to misleading studies, false advertising and big companies that don’t always have our best interests in mind.
It wasn’t until I started studying nutrition that I started getting to the bottom of what’s really in our food, how it affects our bodies and what I should be buying at the grocery store.
