The List and Separating the Men from the Boys

Some songs make it to the Billboard’s Adult Contemporary list, but I just don’t think they’re that great. Who gives a crap about that song “Happy” by Pharrell Williams. It’s a horrible song. I also don’t care for “Story of My Life” by One Direction, “Say Something” (again a horrible song), or “Demons” by Imagine Dragons. And yet all these songs made it to that list.

Then you got the sorta good songs, but you have to ask yourself, “Is it really that good?” Or is it more of just drinking the Kool-aid. Some Kool-aid is good to drink perhaps, but don’t get head over heels over these songs, like John Legend’s “All of Me” and Avicii’s “Wake Me Up!” Both of these did make it to the list as well.
