We don’t usually think of french people being happy. Instead, we like imagining them living in a black and white world, smoking cigarettes, and longing for lost loves. BUT, frenchies these days seem to want to change this image (and also advertise their respective cities). Pharrell Williams was there to help and I believe these videos portray today’s France really well.
This is one from Pau, where my parents live now, and my favorite.
I went to high school in Orleans, and their video is definitely to advertise the city (they added local celebrities and include a lot of businesses)

I’m sure a lot of cities have been participating in this, and probably around the world. Such a nice trend.
