The quickest and easiest way of saving electricity is by
turning off lights when you leave a room or don’t need them anymore. It uses
500 times more energy to leave lights on for 15 minutes, than it takes to turn
them off and back on.
You can change light bulbs to energy efficient LED bulbs to save even more energy, they give out a brighter white light too.
#2 Changing your Thermostat
By increasing the temperature on your thermostat in the
summer and decreasing it in the winter you minimise the temperature difference
between the inside and the outside of the house, which in turn saves vast
amounts of energy.
