As I write this, there is a very lovely teacher covering my class for the second day in a row. Considering it is 85 degrees right now… in October… it’s no wonder that my sinus’ are in full panic mode. For the last three days, I have had a scratchy throat, a runny nose, and a completely congested head. My personal preference is to forgo any medication, but that doesn’t mean I am not finding any relief elsewhere!
I have a handful of go-to’s when it comes to feeling less than stellar, whether that means a cold, sinuses, or just overall burnout – and I absolutely swear by them.
Noodle Soup
This vegetarian noodle soup is easy to digest and contains foods that will decrease inflammation, neutralize pH, and knock out congestion.
- 1 Package of Egg Noodles
- Veggie Broth
- 3-4 Full Carrots
- 3-4 Stalks of Celery
- 2 Cloves of Garlic
