The closest airport is in Las Vegas and it’s about 4.5 hours from the parking lot. To get there from Vegas, you will pass the Hoover Dam and follow Route 66 until you turn on to Indian Road 18, which is about an hour long road that dead ends into the parking lot/start of the trail. A lot of people choose to sleep in their cars to get an early start hiking and beat the heat.
