Recently I have been working on correcting my posture, and body alignment. I am reading a book called Alexander Technique Manual by Richard Brennan, on the Alexander Method, a philosophy of restoring natural posture to give freedom of movement to those who practice it. People living in industrialized countries are dealing with high levels of back and neck pain that is uncommon in people living in non-industrialized nations. Why is this? One reason is the amount of time that people in industrialized nations spend at work, sitting or standing with unnatural posture. Overtime this causes muscular imbalances and pain.
