Hi everyone.

After a wonderful stay in Siem Reap, Cambodia I have now arrived in India.

I flew in on Sunday night and after arriving late took quite a while to get through the airport so that by the time I was outside it was 1.30am and I couldn’t find my hotel transfer waiting at the entrance. I had no Indian Rupees so wandered around trying to find a money exchange but alas there were none. I couldn’t get back into the terminal as it is highly secured and you need a flight confirmation to enter. After a bit of worrying I did find an ATM which fortunately allowed me to withdraw some local cash.

Even at this time, outside the airport was crowded with people. I found a Govt taxi desk and asked for a cab to my hotel but was told ‘no taxis’. There are a number of…
