Sales of dark chocolate are climbing!
Dark chocolate boasts some of the highest levels of antioxidants found in any food – even higher than blueberries, acai berries and cranberries

It can be
- mood altering and provide a mild rise in mood and confidence
- a stimulant which produces energy
- studies show that eating dark chocolate may help to reduce blood pressure and bad cholesterol
- it can give your brain a short-term boost
A nine year swedish study of nearly 32000 middle-aged and elderly ladies who ate dark chocolate once or twice a week found they had a 32% lower risk of developing heart failure.


It is thought the minerals in dark chocolate can help to improve blood flow to the heart.
