Festivals of colours: Holi

Holi is a spring festival celebrated in India which is also known as Festivals of colours. Holi festival indicates the end of winter and the arrival of springs. This festival is celebrated with full of joy and happiness.

In this festival everyone meet each other and play with colours, have fun with everyone. Holi celebrations starts one night before Holi with Holika Dahan. In Holika Dahan people gather and perform religious rituals infront of the bonfire.

The next morning is celebrated as Holi -festival of colours where people play with colours, water guns, water balloons filled with water and colours.
