My voice was always silent
Shy afraid of a strike
A shadow in a world of hate
Existence but no meaning
Lies, cheats all to manipulate 

Then I found a heart of gold
Drain my soul of old
Give me hope and dreams
Gave new meaning to my words

Love filled an empty heart
Strength within my soul
Weakness no longer part of me
My voice no longer silent
