1. Perhaps “because it is there” is not sufficient reason for attempting to analyze and collect all of this data.
Spock knows best. Just because we can, doesn’t mean we should.
2. What you want is irrelevant, what you have chosen is at hand.

You can’t get information from data you don’t have. Be sure to plan ahead of time to know what questions you want your data to answer.
3. Our current data cannot give me exact figures so… I will make a guess.

You have to collect data over a period of time to notice trends and to capitalize on predictions. Until you have that data—and you know that the data isn’t corrupted by other variables—the best you’ll get out of it is a guess.
4. I can not be more specific with this equipment. I’ve had to program some of the variables from memory.
