Working out and eating clean is tough! Especially for an average person like me, I find it really difficult to “suck it up” and just do it. Cheat days/meals are essential for sustainability. I think of them as small rewards for doing well throughout the week.
However, in this post I will encourage you to reward yourself in a bigger way when you’ve reached one of your goals. For instance, if you lost 10lbs, or managed to squat 400lbs when you started off at 245..(you know, some milestone) go treat yourself to something you normally wouldn’t.
