When I first started taking photos, I really wanted to adhere to what the photo was originally like when I took it, and didn’t like editing with photo filters or effects that made a picture unlike what the reality was. However, what is this reality? Is the reality of a photo how the moment actually looks (and even so iPhone photos hardly ever capture the moment exactly simply because photo quality isn’t good enough)? Or is the reality of a photograph a representation of the memory of that moment?
